We congratulate the newly elected members of the Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU) Board of Directors, who will serve for the period 2024 – 2027. CHC/HF team members Lacey Ahern and Mike Wargo joined part of their inaugural board meeting (virtually) to meet the new members and share more about the partnership.
These outstanding professionals bring a wealth of expertise in healthcare, research and public health. They will contribute greatly to PCAU’s mission to accelerate the provision and integration of palliative care in Uganda’s healthcare system through capacity building, advocacy, research, governance and resource mobilization. The new board members are Dr. Nixon Niyonzima (board chairperson), Rev. Sr. Judith Kaddu, Roselight Katusabe, Dr. Elizabeth Namukwaya and Christine Grace Akullo Ebong.
