CHC Partnership Committee
The CHC – PCAU partnership committee is comprised of CHC staff members and volunteers who are familiar with the PCAU partnership or who have an interest in advancing hospice and palliative care work internationally, particularly in Uganda. In alignment with a renewed focus on broad engagement, the committee convenes through quarterly CHC – PCAU partnership update calls, which are open to all CHC staff to encourage wider participation, learning and awareness of the partnership.
The committee’s purpose is to offer expertise, guidance, and support to enhance the CHC – PCAU partnership, ensuring it remains effective, responsive, and relevant, while supporting PCAU in realizing its vision of “Palliative Care for all in Uganda.” These update calls also provide a platform for shared learning, relationship building, and mutual exchange between CHC and PCAU teams. Currently, the committee’s work includes:
- Speaking on behalf of the partnership and representing it as program ambassadors across CHC and the broader community.
- Offering support for PCAU’s key areas of focus.
- Serving on task forces or working committees to develop new initiatives or respond to emerging PCAU needs.
- Providing partnership support, coordination, and guidance to CHC staff to enhance collaboration and impact.
